2016 Community Impact Report

Thank you for reviewing our 2016 Community Impact Report. We think it is important to publish this for the many caring community stakeholders who are willing to take the time to better understand the many complex issues connected to poverty, as well as the actions and results of our collaborative efforts. Heart of Missouri United Way values transparency and accountability, and we thank our agency partners for meeting the challenge every day to make annual reporting so thorough for you.

We also thank you for giving, volunteering, and advocating all year, because without your support, these results would not be possible.

2016 Community Investment Guide


The 2016 Community Investment Guide is intended to help community members, volunteers, stakeholders, businesses and campaign coordinators alike understand how Heart of Missouri United Way invests in its 33 partner agencies. The guide details the following information:

-Identifies our 33 partner agencies and their missions or goals

-Describes the the specific program or service of the partner agency that is receiving support

-States which of the four community impact areas the program or service falls under (health, education, income or safety net)

-Indicates the amount of support invested in each program or service

We invite you to explore the extensive scope of local programs and services that Heart of Missouri United Way suppports in its holistic community impact approach to tackling poverty.
