Heart of Missouri United Way Leadership Circle
The Heart of Missouri United Way Leadership Circle was established in 1989 with 42 members and continues to grow each year. In 2007, Circle membership included 572 community leaders and in 2008 rose to 596, who, together with the Tocqueville Society, contributed more than one-third of our campaign goal.

Leadership Circle members are individuals who give $1,000 -$9,999 to the United Way annual campaign. They are truly leading the way to a better life for everyone in the Heart of Missouri. In 2009 we introduced a new level of giving to our Leadership Circle program, Premier Givers. Premier Givers are those donors who contribute $500-$999 to the United Way Annual Campaign.

Heart of Missouri United Way Tocqueville Society
The Heart of Missouri United Way Alexis de Tocqueville Society was founded in 1999 with five founding couples. Tocqueville Society members are those who contribute more than $10,000 to the United Way annual campaign. In 2007, our Society included 24 members.

The Society, named after the famous early American champion of social causes, is part of a nationwide group of influential United Way leaders.
